In the first quarter of 2013 Cipher Business Solutions delivered a financial consolidation solution for a Mexican mining corporation.
The main objective of the project was to comply with a Mexican regulation that required financial reports to be expressed in both Mexican pesos and US dollars. The implementation was delivered with Infor Performance Management (CPM ) to address financial consolidation and Infor BI Application Studio as the data visualization tool.
Our team of consultants designed and implemented a complex currency translation process that applied the current exchange rate to the financial transactions coming from the ERP System (Infor Syteline).
In addition to meeting the regulatory mandate mentioned above, the company now has a robust and reliable infrastructure from which business users obtain their financial reports with zero or minimum assistance from the IT department.
